Increases the Board of the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services from five (5) to eight (8) members, effective July 1, 2014.

Five (5) members appointed by the Governor with Senate advice and consent; three (3) members are ex officio positions: the Lieutenant Governor (or designee), Secretary of State (or designee), and State Treasurer (or designee).

Eliminates the requirement that board members furnish a $50,000 surety bond before entering upon their duties.

Exempts board members already serving on June 30, 2014, from requiring Senate advice and consent for reappointment to the reconstituted board if they previously received such consent.

Prohibits appointed board members and the executive director from holding substantial beneficial interests in information technology businesses and requires written disclosure of any such interests.
