Requires the Electronic Government Oversight Committee to develop a state procurement portal providing vendors access to information about selling goods and services to Mississippi state agencies, including commodities, contract personnel, and computer equipment and services.

Procurement portal must include a searchable database of business opportunities by product/service and organization, published and closing dates for contracts, frequently asked questions sections, searchable contract database, and open-forum for procurement questions.

Portal must provide links to individual agency websites and contacts to enable vendors to obtain additional information as needed.

Requires the procurement portal be incorporated into and maintained as part of the existing Transparency Mississippi website, with the Department of Information Technology Services developing and maintaining a link from the state website.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
