Increases the maximum assistance amount per county from $650,000 to $720,000 under the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program administered by the Department of Insurance.

Expands the number of fire trucks counties can receive from eleven (11) to twelve (12) total, with the additional truck available at up to $70,000 per truck at the highest funding tier.

Maintains the funding structure of $50,000 per truck for the first six trucks and $70,000 per truck for trucks seven through twelve.

Requires counties to pledge matching funds equal to at least one-tenth (1/10) of the requested assistance amount over up to ten years from local sources, excluding certain fire protection funds.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
