Amends Section 57-10-401, Mississippi Code of 1972, to expand the definition of "economic development project" under the Mississippi Business Finance Corporation bond issuance program.

Includes projects where a related approved company is merged into or consolidated with another approved company, provided both companies are engaged in vertically integrated manufacturing or warehouse operations, effective January 1, 2014.

Applies to economic development projects for which the Mississippi Business Finance Corporation has not issued bonds prior to July 1, 1994, as well as those issued after that date.

Preserves all existing tax claims, assessments, appeals, and suits related to income taxes accrued before the effective date.

Takes effect January 1, 2014.
