Requires inmates eligible for parole, post-release supervision, or probation to receive written and verbal notification before release outlining terms, conditions, and duration of supervision.

Mandates notification must inform inmates that law enforcement may search their person, residence, and vehicle at any time without a warrant or cause, with an explicit statement that searches are not intended for harassment.

Requires Mississippi Department of Corrections to list released parolees and probationers on the National Crime Index Computer indicating their probation or parole status and duration.

Applies to inmates released on or after July 1, 2014, and amends sections of the Mississippi Code governing post-release supervision, probation, earned probation, and parole to require the notification.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
