Amends Section 91-7-259 of Mississippi Code to allow any person or financial institution to transfer personal property or funds of a decedent to an executor or administrator qualified in another state or country.

Permits banks and financial institutions to rely solely on a certified copy of the executor or administrator's appointment and qualification record from the other state or country without requiring additional documentation or court filings.

Removes the previous requirement that executors and administrators file documents in the chancery court clerk's office of the county where the decedent had property or debts before receiving assets.

Applies to any personal property, funds on deposit, or debts owed to the decedent that are held by Mississippi residents or institutions.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
