Authorizes the City of Senatobia to levy a tax of up to 2% on gross proceeds from hotel and motel room rentals and up to 2% on restaurant sales for parks, recreation, and tourism development.

Requires the city to adopt a resolution and hold a public election where at least 60% of qualified voters must approve the tax before it can be imposed.

Election notice must be published in local newspapers once weekly for at least three consecutive weeks, with first publication at least 21 days before the election and final publication no more than 7 days prior.

Tax collection follows state sales tax procedures through the Department of Revenue, which retains 3% of proceeds to cover collection costs and pays remaining funds to the city by the 15th of the following month.

Tax revenue must be separately accounted for, dedicated solely to the authorized purposes, and subject to annual independent audits; the authorization expires July 1, 2017.
