Appropriates $2,700,000.00 from the State General Fund to the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks for fiscal year 2015 (July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015).

Funds shall be used to conduct a twenty-five-member conservation officer cadet training class at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy.

Authorizes 25 permanent full-time positions for the trained conservation officers.

Purpose is to replace retired active conservation officers and prepare the department for potential future reductions due to retirement eligibility.

Effective July 1, 2014.
