Appropriates $6,922,621.28 from the State General Fund to the Department of Public Safety, Division of Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol for fiscal year 2015 (July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015).

Funds support a 60-member Highway Patrol trooper training class conducted at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy.

Authorizes 60 permanent full-time positions to replace retired active patrol officers and prepare for potential future retirements.

Purpose is to replace officers who have retired and address potential reduction in patrol officer force due to retirement eligibility.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
