Exempts retail sales of firearms, ammunition, and hunting supplies from sales taxation during the annual Mississippi Second Amendment Weekend holiday, running from 12:01 a.m. on the first Friday in September through 12:00 midnight the following Sunday.

Defines "firearms" as shotguns, rifles, pistols, revolvers, and other handguns, and "hunting supplies" as tangible personal property used for hunting including archery equipment, apparel, binoculars, tree stands, all-terrain vehicles, airboats, and similar items.

Applies the exemption when title or possession transfers from seller to purchaser, when items are placed on layaway, when final payment is made on layaway items, or when orders are placed for immediate shipment during the holiday period.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
