Creates the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act to establish jurisdictional standards for guardianship and conservatorship proceedings involving adults in Mississippi.

Establishes that Mississippi courts have jurisdiction to appoint guardians or issue protective orders when the respondent's home state is Mississippi, Mississippi is a significant-connection state, or other specified circumstances apply.

Allows courts in Mississippi to communicate and cooperate with courts in other states, including requesting evidentiary hearings, evaluations, testimony, and sharing of medical and financial information related to guardianship proceedings.

Permits transfer of guardianships and conservatorships between states through provisional and final orders, and allows registration of guardianship or conservatorship orders from other states to be recognized and enforced in Mississippi.

Effective date is July 1, 2014, with provisions applying to guardianship and protective proceedings begun on or after July 1, 2012.
