Amends Section 11-46-1 of the Mississippi Code to include employees and members of the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board within the definition of "employee" for purposes of the Tort Claims Act.

Extends tort claims protections to employees and members of charter school governing boards, excluding independent contractors providing goods or services under contract.

Provides civil liability protection under the Tort Claims Act to covered charter school board employees and members in the same manner as other governmental entity employees.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
