Appropriates $7,706,102.00 from the State General Fund to the Department of Public Safety, Division of Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol for fiscal year 2015 (July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015).

Funds designated to defray expenses of a 60-member Highway Patrol trooper training class conducted at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy.

Authorizes 60 permanent full-time positions for the trained troopers.

Appropriation intended to replace retired active patrol officers and prepare for potential future reductions in patrol officer force due to retirement eligibility.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
