Deletes the July 1, 2014 repeal date for Section 27-19-60, which authorizes the Mississippi commission to deny, suspend, or revoke registration and licensing of commercial motor vehicles operated by persons prohibited by federal or state motor carrier safety agencies.

Deletes the July 1, 2014 repeal date for Section 27-19-90, which imposes penalties of up to $1,500 fine or six months jail time for first offenses and up to $2,500 fine or one year jail time for subsequent offenses for altering, forging, or counterfeiting commercial motor vehicle license plates, decals, permits, or documents.

Removes conditional language in Section 27-19-65 that was scheduled to change the statute's provisions on July 1, 2014, allowing the current misdemeanor penalties for false statements on commercial motor vehicle registration applications to remain in effect.

Makes the Department of Revenue's authority to deny, suspend, and revoke commercial motor vehicle licenses permanent rather than temporary.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
