Defines "High School Equivalency Diploma" in Mississippi Code as a high school diploma approved by the Mississippi Community College Board.

Changes all references to "GED" (General Educational Development) throughout Mississippi Code to "High School Equivalency Diploma" in 12 different sections covering education, workforce programs, and corrections.

Renames "State Board for Community and Junior Colleges" to "Mississippi Community College Board" where it appears in relation to GED/High School Equivalency Diploma programs.

Applies uniformly across education, TANF benefits, youth court dispositions, and correctional facility programs to use consistent terminology for high school equivalency credentials.

Effective July 1, 2014.
