Amends Section 37-7-307 of Mississippi Code to allow licensed school employees to use personal leave on the first and last day of a school term, and the day before and after a holiday if summoned for jury duty or as a court witness.

Personal leave restrictions previously prohibited use on these specific days unless an immediate family member was being deployed for military service; this bill adds jury duty and court witness summons as additional exceptions.

Maintains existing provisions that licensed employees receive a minimum of two days personal leave annually, with up to five days carrying over to the next school year.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
