Amends Mississippi Code Section 83-11-101 to require uninsured motorist bodily injury insurance coverage limits to be identical to the bodily injury liability coverage limits in the policy.

Changes the effective date for new automobile liability insurance policies from January 1, 1967 to July 1, 2014.

Removes the previous provision allowing insured persons to elect uninsured motorist coverage limits up to but not exceeding their bodily injury liability coverage limits.

Maintains existing requirements that property damage uninsured motorist coverage remain optional with a $200 deductible and that bodily injury coverage cannot be rejected while retaining property damage coverage.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
