Amends Mississippi Code Section 67-1-51 to create an exception to the 400-foot distance restriction on alcoholic beverage sales and storage near churches, schools, kindergartens, and funeral homes.

Exception applies to cultural and educational centers that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, operated by non-profit organizations, and located in qualified resort areas.

Distance restrictions remain 400 feet in residential areas and 100 feet in commercially or business-zoned areas, with existing exceptions for bed and breakfast inns and historic districts with populations over 100,000.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
