Amends Section 63-9-11 to allow Internet-based traffic safety violator courses to be approved by courts for nonadjudication of certain traffic misdemeanors.

Internet-based courses must be approved by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety and conducted by a company or organization based in Mississippi.

Eligible defendants charged with misdemeanor traffic violations can complete a court-approved course (minimum four hours) to have the offense dismissed with no record on their driving record.

Defendants must meet eligibility requirements including having a valid driver's license, no prior conviction within three years, and paying applicable fines plus a $10 fee to elect the program.

Effective July 1, 2014.
