Exempts health care sharing ministries from regulation under Mississippi's insurance code (Title 83).

Defines "health care sharing ministry" as a faith-based, nonprofit organization that is tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Code and limits participation to members of a similar faith.

Requires health care sharing ministries to act as facilitators matching participants with financial or medical needs to other participants able to assist, with contributions made voluntarily among participants with no assumption of risk or promise to pay.

Mandates monthly written statements to participants listing total qualified needs submitted and amounts assigned for contribution, and requires a written disclaimer on all applications stating the organization is not insurance and participation is voluntary.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
