Requires school districts to ensure all publicly owned school buses display the county or school district name in letters at least five inches high in contrasting color on both sides.

Mandates that any contract for operation, rental, leasing, or purchase of school buses must require the private or public entity to place required district-identifying signage on buses before delivery to the school district.

Amends Section 37-41-29 to require private transportation contracts to include stipulations for placement of district-identifying signage on all contracted buses.

Amends Section 37-41-31 to require four-year transportation contracts to include stipulations for placement of district-identifying signage on all contracted buses.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
