Amends Section 45-11-251 of Mississippi Code to provide per diem compensation and travel expenses to non-state employee members of the Mississippi Fire Personnel Minimum Standards and Certification Board.

Per diem and travel expenses are authorized under Sections 25-3-69 and 25-3-41 for board members attending meetings and performing official duties.

Applies to the nine appointed board members representing firefighters, fire chiefs, instructors, investigators, and volunteer fire service—not the two ex officio state employee members (Commissioner of Insurance and Director of State Fire Academy).

Effective July 1, 2014.
