MS HB857

Directs the Mississippi Department of Transportation to construct, reconstruct, straighten and realign a segment of Highway 315 in Panola County.

Designates the highway segment as part of the state highway system and places it under the jurisdiction of the Mississippi Transportation Commission for construction and maintenance.

The affected segment begins at the presently designated Mississippi 315 in Section 30, Township 8 South, Range 5 West, and extends southeasterly approximately 4 miles to intersect Mississippi 6 in Section 32, Township 8 South, Range 5 West.

Takes effect on July 1, 2014.
