Prohibits any person convicted of a felony in Mississippi or any other state from serving on municipal, county, or state executive committees.

Prohibits any person convicted of an election crime under state or federal law from serving on municipal, county, or state executive committees.

Applies the prohibition to temporary and permanent municipal executive committees, temporary and permanent county executive committees, and state executive committees.

Violation of the prohibition is a misdemeanor offense, and violators must be removed from the committee.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
