Amends Mississippi Code Section 45-9-101 to exempt honorably retired military personnel from concealed weapon permit license fees, matching the existing exemption for honorably retired law enforcement officers.

Honorably retired military personnel are exempt from the initial license fee of $100.00 and the renewal fee of $50.00 for concealed pistol, revolver, or stun gun permits.

Permits remain valid for five years from date of issuance and require renewal with fingerprints and an affidavit confirming continued eligibility.

The measure applies to all existing qualifications and restrictions for concealed carry licenses, including residency requirements, background checks, and prohibited locations.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
