Amends Mississippi Code sections governing corporate name reservations to allow one-time renewal of the initial 180-day reservation period by filing a renewal application within 30 days of expiration.

Removes the 60-day waiting period that previously prevented applicants from reserving the same name again after a reservation expired.

Repeals Section 79-4-4.03 (corporate name registration) and Section 79-11-161 (foreign corporation name registration) from the Mississippi Code.

Applies renewable name reservation provisions to corporations, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies organized under Mississippi law.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
