Allows any candidate to request a new election if the combined total of legally rejected votes and illegally counted votes exceeds the margin of victory in an election.

Requires appropriate election officials to set a new election date and time when a candidate requests one under these circumstances.

Amends Mississippi Code sections 23-15-581, 23-15-597, 23-15-601, and 23-15-603 to establish this revote procedure across primary and general elections.

Applies to elections for county offices, state offices, legislative offices, and other positions where voting irregularities may have affected the outcome.

Becomes effective July 1, 2014.
