Change election day for state and county officers from the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November to the first Saturday after the first Monday in November, beginning in 2016.

Amend Section 102, Section 140, and Section 252 of the Mississippi Constitution of 1890 to reflect the new Saturday election date.

The Legislature retains authority to change the election date to any day in October, November, or December by passing new legislation.

Submit the proposed constitutional amendment to qualified electors for approval at the November 2014 general election.

All three proposed constitutional amendments are voted on as a single measure since they address the same subject.
