Commends and congratulates the John F. Kennedy Lady Hornets basketball team for winning the 2013-2014 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 1A State Championship with an undefeated 32-0 record.

Recognizes the team's historic achievement as the first team in Bolivar County history to complete an undefeated season while winning multiple championships including Region 3-1A Championship and North Half Championship.

Honors Head Coach Linda Allen and assistant coaches Arthur Floyd and Gilbert Thompson for their leadership and development of the team's execution and strategies.

Acknowledges senior players Ieysha Mays and Frederica Haywood as the backbone of the team, along with all 14 roster members (5 seniors, 2 juniors, 6 sophomores, and 2 eighth graders).

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to John F. Kennedy High School, the head and assistant coaches, and the Capitol Press Corps.
