Commends Mr. James E. "Sonny" Boatman of Corinth, Mississippi, for being named 2014 Citizen of the Year by the Junior Auxiliary of Corinth.

Recognizes his 35 years of service as director of interior display at Lord & Taylor in New York City before retiring to Corinth in the early 1990s.

Acknowledges his volunteer contributions to the arts, including work with the Corinth Artist Guild Gallery since 2002 and organization of an annual heritage festival at the Verandah-Curlee House.

Notes his previous awards including the Spirit of Service Lifetime Achievement Award (2011), recognition from the Alliance (2007), and the Shanda Wilbanks Albritton Lifetime Achievement Award from Corinth Theatre-Arts (2007).

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Mr. Boatman, the President of the Junior Auxiliary of Corinth, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
