Honors Professor Robert Lee "Bob" Jordan, Jr., who passed away on December 15, 2013, at age 80, and was a longtime resident of Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Recognizes his 32-year career as an educator teaching driver's education, English, and band at schools including Carver High School in Okolona, Earl Travillion in Hattiesburg, Bassfield High School, and Locker High School in Wiggins

Acknowledges his extensive service at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church as Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, Vacation Bible School director, Baptist Training Union director, Minister of Music, and choir musician

Notes his educational achievements graduating top of his class from Springfield Consolidated High School and earning a degree in English from Vandercook College after attending Rust College

Extends official sympathy from the Mississippi House of Representatives to his surviving family including five children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren
