Mourns the death of Mrs. Sarah Payton Ratliff, who passed away on March 8, 2014, and was born June 5, 1923, in Carroll County, Mississippi.

Commends Mrs. Ratliff's lifelong service as a teacher with Mississippi Action for Progress, Inc., and her active participation in community organizations including the American Legion Hut Post #200, Ladies Auxiliary-VFW, and the Greenwood Voter's League.

Recognizes her devoted Christian faith and service as a member of multiple churches, including Mt. Arratt Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother Board and as Secretary of the Usher Board.

Expresses sympathy to her surviving family members: daughter Ethel Lee Ratliff, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, and other family and friends.

Directs the House to furnish copies of the resolution to Mrs. Ratliff's family and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
