Commends and congratulates the McComb High School Tigers Boys Basketball Team for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 4A State Championship during the 2013-2014 season, the program's first state title since 1962.

Recognizes Head Coach Hilton Harrell for winning his first state championship in his 20-year, 625-game coaching career after the Tigers defeated Raymond High School 68-48 on March 15, 2014.

Highlights the team's 32-1 season record and their five starting seniors—Lederrius Simmons, Antonio Johnson, Roy Patterson, Shemar Williams, and Stacey Mack—who combined for 44 of the 68 winning points.

Acknowledges Coach Harrell's service to McComb since 1993 as both a coach and community member, and the team's demonstration of sportsmanship and winning spirit.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to McComb High School, Head Coach Harrell, and the Capitol Press Corps.
