Commends and congratulates the Itawamba Agricultural High School Lady Indians Girls Basketball Team and Head Coach Devin Hill for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 4A State Championship on March 15, 2014.

Team defeated reigning champion Bay High 42-41 at the Mississippi Coliseum, with Constance Dunn making a game-winning steal with six seconds remaining.

Constance Dunn recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds with four steals; Kim Mallory added 13 points; and the team finished the season 30-8.

This was Itawamba Agricultural High School's first state championship since 1952 and marked Head Coach Devin Hill's first year leading the team.

Resolution directs that copies be furnished to Head Coach Devin Hill, Itawamba Principal Trae Wiygul, and the Capitol Press Corps.
