Commends the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots Boys Basketball Team for winning the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) Overall Tournament Championship by defeating Jackson Prep 57-47 on March 1, 2014

Recognizes the team's record of 31-9 and notes this was their ninth Overall championship title, including their seventh in the last 10 years

Acknowledges key performances by players Ben Milam and Devin Gilmore who each recorded double-doubles, and the team's comeback from an early 14-4 deficit

Commends Head Coach Richard Duease for leading the team to the championship after previously losing in both the Academy AAA-I title game and AAA championship game

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Coach Duease, Headmaster Tommy Thompson, and the Capitol Press Corps
