Commends Stephen C. Reynolds upon his retirement as President and CEO of Baptist Memorial Health Care of Memphis, Tennessee, after 44 years of service

Reynolds led Baptist Memorial to become the Memphis area's largest nonprofit health care system, encompassing 14 hospitals across Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, along with clinics, hospice programs, and other facilities

Under his leadership since 1994, the organization built two additional metro-Memphis hospitals, established the Baptist College of Health Sciences in 1995, and created the region's first residential hospice facility

Reynolds served in leadership roles for numerous organizations including the Tennessee Hospital Association, CEOs Against Cancer, and the Memphis Chamber of Commerce

Baptist Memorial Health Care has contributed an economic impact of $2.6 billion to the Memphis community
