Commends Victoria Vivians, a six-foot forward senior at Scott Central High School, for her record-breaking and stellar basketball career.

Recognizes Vivians scored 5,745 career points from eighth grade through senior year, the highest total in Mississippi history for boys or girls basketball.

Notes Vivians achieved 1,617 points and 46.2 points per game in her final season, leading the nation in both categories, along with 500 rebounds, 151 steals, and 65 assists.

Acknowledges Vivians' numerous honors including Parade All-American, Mississippi's ESPN/Gatorade Player of the Year, Miss Basketball, and induction into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.

Recognizes Vivians' commitment to Mississippi State University for her college basketball career and directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Vivians, Head Coach Chad Harrison, and the Capitol Press Corps.
