Commends Dr. Thomas J. "Sparky" Reardon upon his retirement after 36 years of service to the University of Mississippi, where he served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of Students.

Recognizes Dr. Reardon's career progression at Ole Miss beginning August 16, 1977, including roles as coordinator of pre-admissions, assistant director of student activities, associate dean of students, and dean of students for 14 years.

Acknowledges Dr. Reardon's educational credentials including a bachelor of arts from Ole Miss (1972), master of education from Delta State University (1976), and doctorate of philosophy in education leadership from Ole Miss (2000).

Highlights his professional achievements including the Bob Schaeffer Award (1998), Thomas Frist Student Service Award (1995), co-chairing the committee that created the UM Creed, speaking at over 100 colleges, and appearing in a History Channel documentary on fraternity history.
