Amends Section 77-5-207 to allow electric power associations to use either "electric power association" or "electric cooperative" in their corporate name.

Amends Section 77-5-209 to prohibit any corporation other than those formed under the electric power association law from using the words "electric power association" or "electric cooperative" in their name.

Defines references in state law to "electric power association," "electric cooperative," or "nonprofit cooperative electric power association" as applying to corporations formed under this article, regardless of which terminology appears in their name.

Takes effect upon passage.
