Amends Mississippi Code Section 93-11-65 to clarify that overdue child support remains payable to the custodial parent after a child's emancipation unless the court affirmatively determines otherwise.

Adds a new subsection (d) to the child support statute establishing the presumption that overdue support continues to be owed to the custodian post-emancipation, shifting the burden to the obligor to request court modification.

Does not affect the noncustodial parent's obligation to satisfy arrearages existing as of the emancipation date, which continues until fully paid.

Effective July 1, 2014.
