Extends the repeal date for municipal authority to contract with housing authorities to provide extra police protection in exchange for compensation or fees from July 1, 2014 to July 1, 2017.

Allows municipalities to continue entering into agreements with housing authorities as defined in Section 43-33-1 for provision of additional police protection services.

The extended authority will automatically expire on July 1, 2017 unless further legislative action is taken.

Amends Section 21-17-1 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which governs municipal corporation powers and authorities.
