Changes the official name of the "State Board for Community and Junior Colleges" to the "Mississippi Community College Board" throughout Mississippi Code of 1972.

Amends 70 sections of Mississippi Code to update all references to the board with its new name, ensuring consistency across state education, workforce development, health, and administrative statutes.

Brings forward Section 37-4-5 to establish that "Junior College Commission" and "State Board for Community and Junior Colleges" terms in state law mean "Mississippi Community College Board."

Maintains all existing powers, duties, and responsibilities of the board; the change is purely nomenclatural to modernize the agency's official designation.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
