MS SB2115

Amends Section 25-4-21 of the Mississippi Code to provide whistleblower protection for persons filing complaints with the Mississippi Ethics Commission in good faith.

Grants immunity from civil suit to anyone making or filing a complaint with the Ethics Commission and to those providing evidence or testimony during any investigation or proceeding under the ethics chapter.

Applies immunity protections to the complaint filing process and to all related evidence gathering and proceedings conducted by the Ethics Commission.

Takes effect upon passage.
