Hinds Agricultural High School is discontinued effective July 1, 2014, with all real property transferred to the Hinds Community College District.

Personal property including sports and extracurricular equipment transfers to the Hinds County School District, with distribution determined by joint order of both boards of trustees and approved by the State Board of Education.

Students enrolled at Hinds Agricultural High School at closure may receive two diplomas upon graduation—one from their subsequent school district and one courtesy diploma from Hinds Agricultural High School.

Test scores and graduation cohort data from Hinds Agricultural High School students receive a two-year waiver from accountability calculations for Raymond High School and the Hinds County School District, subject to State Department of Education approval.

Hinds Community College District pays all costs associated with transferring title of real and personal property.
