Creates the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act in Mississippi, establishing uniform rules for determining which state has jurisdiction over adult guardianship and protective proceedings.

Establishes jurisdiction based on "home state" (where respondent was physically present for at least 6 consecutive months), "significant-connection state," and emergency circumstances, with Mississippi courts having exclusive and continuing jurisdiction once a guardianship or protective order is issued.

Allows courts in different states to communicate and cooperate, including requesting evidentiary hearings, ordering evaluations, and taking testimony from witnesses in other states.

Provides procedures for transferring guardianships and conservatorships between states, including provisional orders and acceptance requirements, and allows registration of guardianship and protective orders from other states.

Takes effect July 1, 2014, and applies to proceedings begun on or after that date; brings forward existing Mississippi guardianship statutes (Sections 93-13-111, 93-13-127, and 93-13-251) for conformity with the new uniform act.
