Amends Section 25-53-151 to require the Electronic Government Oversight Committee to develop a procurement portal providing vendors access to information about selling goods and services to Mississippi state agencies.

Portal must include a searchable database of state business opportunities, published and closing dates for contracts, frequently asked questions about doing business with agencies, and an open forum for procurement-related questions.

Portal shall be incorporated into the existing Transparency Mississippi website with a link maintained on the state website by the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services.

Codifies new Section 27-104-165 requiring the Department of Finance and Administration, with assistance from MDITS and the State Personnel Board, to integrate the procurement portal into the Transparency Mississippi website.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
