• Authorizes the State Auditor to perform audits of state agencies as deemed necessary, in addition to required annual postaudits.

• Increases the hourly rate charged for audit services from $30.00 to $35.00 per man hour for staff performing audits and investigations.

• Permits the State Auditor to recover actual costs of independent specialist firms contracted to assist with audits from the audited entity.

• Applies effective July 1, 2014.
