Removes the July 1, 2014 repeal date on provisions allowing the Department of Revenue to deny, revoke, or suspend registration and licensing of commercial motor vehicles operated by persons prohibited from operating by federal or state motor carrier safety agencies.

Removes the July 1, 2014 repeal date on provisions allowing removal of license plates from commercial motor vehicles of persons prohibited from operating by federal or state motor carrier safety agencies by the Department of Revenue, Department of Public Safety, or Department of Transportation.

Removes the July 1, 2014 reverter on provisions making it unlawful to willfully and knowingly make false statements on commercial motor vehicle registration applications to circumvent federal prohibition from interstate commerce or state laws, or to register a vehicle on behalf of another person for the same purpose.

Removes the July 1, 2014 repeal date on criminal penalties for willfully and knowingly altering, forging, or counterfeiting license plates, decals, permits, or other required documents for commercial motor vehicles.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
