Amends Mississippi Code Section 25-1-87 to allow the Commissioner of the Department of Corrections to request unmarked vehicles when identifying marks would hinder official investigations.

Adds the Commissioner of the Department of Corrections to the list of state officials authorized to request unmarked vehicles from the Governor for investigative purposes.

Requires written requests for unmarked vehicles to include the manufacturer's serial number, state inventory number, and explanation of why markings would interfere with investigations.

Requires the Governor to provide copies of authorization for unmarked vehicles to the State Department of Audit for oversight and compliance tracking.

Takes effect upon passage.
