Establishes "simple domestic violence third" as a felony requiring 5-10 years imprisonment when a person commits simple domestic violence with two prior convictions within seven years for simple or aggravated domestic violence.

Creates "aggravated domestic violence third" as a felony requiring 10-20 years imprisonment when a person commits aggravated domestic violence with two prior convictions within seven years for aggravated or simple domestic violence third.

Establishes mandatory 15-20 years imprisonment for any person with three or more prior domestic violence convictions who commits simple or aggravated domestic violence.

Allows courts to issue criminal protection orders upon conviction that prohibit contact with victims, with duration of up to one year for municipal/justice courts and any period deemed necessary for circuit/county courts.

Extends temporary domestic abuse protection orders from 30 days maximum to up to one year when the protected party and respondent have no minor children in common.
